Are there any plans of opening up radio stations like Jack FM in the UK. Is there a franchise package available?

Lou: You'd have to ask the people who own the distribution rights to the JACK-FM brand on that one. I think it would be a natural fit for the UK. I spent a semester of school (Fall 1998) at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England, where I heard BBC Radio One and some of the local offerings available in the Grantham area. I think a JACK-FM in London could do very well.
From a personal preference standpoint, I think I'd actually enjoy it more than the U.S. counterparts, but I've always had a thing for British/European music. As I type this, I'm listening to the "test stream" of jackfm.nl, which presumably is a JACK-FM webcast aimed at Holland.
To directly answer the question, I don't know of any plans to bring JACK-FM to the UK, but I think it would be a wonderful idea.
